Your control tools

Under the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming, every account includes:

  • Deposit limits — cap how much you can deposit per day, week or month.
  • Loss limits — cap your net losses over a chosen period.
  • Time limits & session reminders — set how long you play and get reality-check reminders.
  • Take a break — pause your account for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 2 months or 3 months. During the break you will be unable to place wagers.
  • Self-exclusion — exclude yourself for a fixed term of 6 months, 1 year or 5 years.

You can set limits when you register and change them any time. Requests that tighten a limit take effect immediately; requests that loosen or remove a limit take effect only after a 24-hour cooling-off period.

How we look out for you

Under the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) Registrar's Standards 2.10 and 2.11, we actively monitor play patterns for signs of gambling-related harm — including frequent deposits, long sessions, increased spending, and apparent loss-chasing. Where we detect risk indicators, we may:

  • display in-game reality-check or responsible-gaming messages;
  • suggest tools such as deposit limits or a break;
  • restrict promotional offers;
  • in serious cases, limit your account and refer you to ConnexOntario.

Self-exclusion

Self-exclusion is available for the following terms: 6 months, 1 year, or 5 years. Once you self-exclude, you will be immediately logged out and unable to log in until your exclusion ends. We will stop sending you any marketing material, incentives or promotions for the duration of your exclusion.

BetGuard is Ontario's Centralized Self-Exclusion Program, operated by iGaming Ontario (iGO) under Standard 2.14.1 of the Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming. When you self-exclude through BetGuard, you are excluded from all participating regulated iGaming operators in Ontario simultaneously — not just from Ollywood Casino.
